Romain Philippon just released a photographic essay “Seuls Ensemble” (Together Alone in French), on a limited printed edition of 50 copies, signed and numbered. In an age where technology connects us on an unprecedented scale, we witness a strange dissonance: individual isolation in the midst of society. The book "Seuls ensemble" explores this modern paradox through a series of photographs taken in Japan, one of the countries ranked at the bottom of the list in terms of daily smartphone use.
Book format is A5, 48 color pages printed on Munken paper, hand sewed in France. Cover is kraft printed paper. Available in January 2025, only on the website of Pendant ce Temps editions.
