The Night Is Thick in L'Obs | Patrick Wack

Images from Patrick Wack's series "The Night Is Thick" was recently published in French weekly "L'Obs" as part of a large story on the situation of the Uyghur minority in Chinese Xinjiang. This series shot in 2019 remains one of the very rare recent photographic accounts from inside the region as the persecution continues and the mass-incarceration of Muslims doesn't seem to slow down.
