Inland education program | About Perspectives
In mid-May, the image education program, run in a secondary school in Munster, France, will be presented to the public. Using photography, the program developed the participants’ vision and exercised their critical thinking by cultivating an engaging inquiry into their own image.
The students followed theoretical and practical courses in documentary photography and ultimately produced an exhibition, which will be presented at their college until the end of the year. The exhibition,"Champs libre: Autobiographie en photo," portrays young people and questions representation and the role of the image in our society. Built by artists and photojournalists, the project forces us to consider concepts like agency, reflection and selfhood in an age of information.
A project made possible with the support of the European Community of Alsace.
