Group Exhibition at Fotografiska in Tallinn, Estonia | Matjaž Tančič
Inland photographer Matjaž Tančič takes part in “SPACE – A Visual Journey”, a group exhibition at Fotografiska Tallinn running from 13 September 2025 to 18 January 2026. The exhibition brings together 14 international artists exploring humanity’s timeless fascination with the cosmos. Through a dialogue between art and science, the show reflects on the mysteries of the universe and the values that shape our ambitions as we reach beyond Earth.
Matjaž presents his acclaimed project documenting simulated Mars desert habitats, where international crews prepare for future interplanetary travel. His work highlights collaboration, inclusivity, and diversity in space exploration, reminding us that the new space race is no longer about competition, but about building a shared future among the stars.
By connecting human stories with scientific aspiration, Matjaž’s photography offers a deeply human perspective on our collective journey toward the unknown, a fitting contribution to Fotografiska Tallinn’s exploration of art, science, and the infinite possibilities of space.
