Photographer Jana Margarete Schuler presents her work “The Family Next Door” as part of the conceptual exhibition MEDEA in Munich, Germany. Curated by Mona Shatry and Malin Victoria Kraus, the exhibition is part of a three-day, three-room installation celebrating female power, questioning the roles and positions of women.
“The Family Next Door “ explores the complex dynamics of modern families: Julia and Ingmar have a daughter together. But they were never a couple. And then there’s Ingmar’s husband. And Julia’s boyfriend. How can this even work? The project reflects on what family, love, and closeness mean today, and how women define their own roles within it.
