Kiruna mining town, for Le Parisien Week-End, France | Cyril Abad

On assignment for Le Parisien Week-End, photographer Cyril Abad and journalist Hubert Prolongeau went in early November to Kiruna, a Swedish mining town on the Arctic Circle. The town has to move, weakened by the iron ore mining operations for which it was built at the beginning of the 20th century. To ensure safety, the national company LKAB is relocating part of the population, a church and stores.
