🩷 SPEED DATING 🩷

Make that special connection

7July 2026 at the Inland x Hahnemühle House, Le Printemps, Arles

Inland invites emerging photographers to apply for its third “Speed-dating”, a unique event with leading industry experts during the professional week of Les Rencontres d’Arles 2026.

On Tuesday, 7 July at the Inland x Hahnemühle House, participate in this special opportunity to connect with top editors, curators, gallerists, and other key figures in the visual world. Unlike traditional portfolio reviews, this event focuses on personal connections and interactions.

The event is part of the program of the Festival OFF.

The application and the event are free.

  • Inspired by the speed dating format, this event will feature brief, informal meetings where selected photographers will have 5 minutes to introduce themselves and discuss their work with each expert; without the immediate support of a portfolio. This is an opportunity to highlight your professional qualities, human skills, and potential for collaboration. It's also a great exercise for learning how to talk about your work as a photographer.

Your images will only be showcased at the end of the session, on the screens displayed in the Le Printemps ensuring every photographer has the chance to personally engage with each expert before their work is displayed.

    • Erika Negrel, Réseau Diagonal director

    • Natalia Jimenez, Deputy Photo director, Wall Street Journal

    • Julia Bunnemann, Curator, The Photographer’s Gallery Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize

    • Jules Azélie, FUJI

    • Bruno Oliveira, Hahnemühle

More experts to be announced soon, stay connected.

    • Deadline is 15 June, at 11:59 pm (CEST).

    • Selected photographers will be notified via email by 17 June.
