Jef Bonifacino studies Fine Arts and Art History at the University of Bordeaux. As an independent photographer, he has developed his own writing at the crossroads of art and documentary, on long-term projects.His work is focused on the notion of territory, creating links between different spaces and periods discovering and questioning the relationship between Man and his environment and his history.

Tjorven Bruyneel

Tjorven Bruyneel was born in 1983 in Belgium. She obtained a master’s degree in photography from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent in 2007. She is known for her social documentary projects that often raise the question of identity. Tjorven has been nominated for various competitions and won the Charles Deleu Award, DOC*werk2016. She participated in group / solo exhibitions in Belgium, France and South Africa. Having lived for four years in South Africa (2010-2014), she is currently based in Belgium.

Phyllis B. Dooney is a social documentary visual storyteller. Phyllis was honored in 2019 as one of Photo District News (PDN’s) “30New and Emerging Photographers.” She has an MFA from Duke University’s Experimental & Documentary Arts. She is currently based out of North Carolina, USA.

Tim Franco is a French Polish photographer born in Paris in 1982. At 18, while studying engineering , he starts an online music magazine for which he takes his first photographs. almost a decade later, he has moved to China and starts working full time as a photographer while documenting the underground music scene in Shanghai.

Freelance photographer based in Reunion Island since 2006, Romain
Philippon has developed his documentary photography around themes related to insularity, in its geographical and human forms, mainly in the
Indian Ocean territory. Questioning his practice of the image in
various projects, which go from raw photographic documentary to
videographic experimentation with other artists (dancers, modern
circus, musicians...), he likes to put poetry at the heart of his work.

Matjaž Tančič (1982) is lens-based artist working mainly on documentary and independent projectsbetween China and Slovenia. His work explores the lines between documentary, portrait and art photography to engage with social and cultural issues. He likes to experiment within the photographic medium and is mainly known for his 3D stereography projects. Tančič holds a BA in photography from theUniversity of the Arts, London.

Patrick Wack

Patrick Wack

French photographer Patrick Wack was born in Cannes in 1979 and grew up in the suburbs of Paris. After a career in sports and studies in economics that took him to the US and Sweden, he left a job in Berlin to pursue in China a passion for photography, and hopes of a less ordinary life. Fully self-taught, he worked from 2006 to 2017 as a Shanghai-based freelance photographer in the fields of editorial and commercial photography. Patrick also focuses on long-term personal projects mixing the traditional documentary approach with subjective storytelling. Patrick is based in Berlin, Shanghai and Moscow.

Mélanie Wenger is a documentary photographer represented by Cosmos agency. She lives where she works, between New-York, Brussels, Paris and Cape Town. Graduate in Litterature and a Master's degree of journalism, she chose to tell stories about human beings, heros of the ordinary, to reveal their depth through the permanent immediacy of the photography. Without forgetting the harshness that makes them so unique.

Jana Margarete Schuler

Jana Margarete Schuler comes from the small Franconian town of Forchheim, where she

grew up in a district called “Kellerwald”. A wooded area where one beer cellar follows

another - rich in tradition and bizarre. No wonder she is interested in people and places that

are out of the norm. While studying photojournalism and documentary photography in

Hanover, she began photographing reportages on social and cultural topics. Since then, she

has accompanied ice fishermen in Lapland, MEPs in Brussels, wrestlers in northern Mexico,

brewers in Upper Franconia and winegrowers in Spain. She lives in Bamberg and travels all

over the world for her stories. Jana's work has appeared in ZEIT, Spiegel, Stern etc.
