Inland, in partnership with Fisheye, invites emerging photographers to apply for a unique event with leading industry experts at Les Rencontres Photographiques d'Arles on the 2nd of July at 6:00 pm 2024 in La Cour de l’Archevêché. This is a special opportunity to connect with top editors, curators, gallerists, and other key figures in the visual arts world. Among the professionals who will be here for you: Philippe Guionie, Villa Perochon / Céline Duval, Stimultania / Emmanuelle Halkin, Pôle photographique des Hauts-de-France / Erika Negrel, Reseau Diagonal / Valerio Vincenzo, Photo GEO / Marion Hilsen, Réseau Lux / Clara Chalou, Fetart Circulations / Lars Lindeman, Cortona on the move / Arnaud Laroche, Les Boutographies / Hélène Allain, Initial Labo / Andreas Trampe, Stern and more to come. Unlike traditional portfolio reviews, this event focuses on personal introductions and interactions with the experts we invited.

Inspired by the speed dating format, this event will feature brief, informal meetings where selected photographers will have 5-10 minutes to introduce themselves and discuss their work with each expert; without the support of a portfolio. This is an opportunity to highlight your professional qualities, human skills, and potential for collaboration. It's also a great exercise for learning how to talk about your work as a photographer.

Your images will only be showcased at the end of the session, on the screens displayed in La Cour de l’Archevêché, ensuring every photographer has the chance to personally engage with each expert before their work is displayed.

The application and the event are free.

Submit your application by filling out the information form below and sending 15 images (2000px on the longest side, JPG format, max 25MB) to contact@inlandstories.com (Applications sent through any other means will not be considered.)

The deadline is Thursday 20th of June, at 11:59 pm (CEST). If you do not send the 15 required images, your application will be considered incomplete and therefore invalid.

Selected photographers will be notified via email by Wednesday 26th of June.
