Sugar Moon in Visa pour l'image | Melanie Wenger

The new documentary story Sugar Moon created by photographer Mélanie Wenger will be part of the International Photojournalism Festival Visa pour l'image in September 2021 in Perpignan.
For four years, she has been following the daily life of professional hunter Erik Grimland and his family on their ranch in Northern Texas, and has even travelled with Erik all the way to Namibia for a hunting safari. Sugar Moon is the schizophrenic story of the exotic game hunting industry and an intimate portrait of Trump's America.
