Stories in Serbia and Kosovo for Liberation | Vladimir Zivojinovic

Photographer Vladimir Zivojinovic worked on assignment for the French newspaper Liberation on migrants trying to reach Europe through Serbia. Several hundred refugees are waiting in squats and camps from Tunisia, Morocco and India, Algeria to cross the Serbian-Hungarian border. Alarmed, the European Commission has asked Belgrade to toughen up its migration policies.

Vladimir Zivojinovic was also on assignment covering the last political crisis between Serbia and Kosovo that dealt with car plates. Since September 2021, Belgrade and Pristina are in disagreement regarding car plates which lead the driver to add stickers on their plates depending if they are in Kosovo or Serbie.
