Screening as part of the Fotohaus Berlin 2025 program at Institut Français Berlin, Germany | Thrutopia

As part of the Fotohaus Berlin 2025 program, the exhibition series “Kontroverse & Paradoxe 2: How to Re-Enchant the World” will feature a special screening of “Thrutopia", bringing attention to artistic reflections on the paradoxes of our time.

The screening will be presented at Institut Français Berlin,Kurfürstendamm 211, 10719 Berlin, running from 6 November 2025 to 14 February 2026, with the opening on 6 November 2025 at 18:30, and Galerie World in a Room, Brunhildstraße 7, 10829 Berlin.

In a world where political crises multiply, climate urgency intensifies, and social inequalities and the suffering of minorities are part of daily life, the prospect of better lives faces limits and contradictions inherent to human history. Modernization often destroys, while innovation seeks to repair the damage, a paradox explored by the artists invited to Fotohaus Berlin 2025.

The program is presented with the support of: CNAP France, Collectif Les Associés, Fovearts, Freelens, Hamburg Portfolio Review, Inland Stories, Institut Français Kurfürstendamm, Le Bolabo, PIB Photography in Berlin, Whitewall Lab, and World in a Room.
