Project 114: 4th year in Fleury-Mérogis Prison, France | Mélanie Wenger

In December 2025, Mélanie Wenger’s Project 114 held its fourth atelier at Fleury-Mérogis prison, Île-de-France, bringing together 7 men and 13 women who volunteered to take part in a collective creation. Through photography, the project invites incarcerated participants to question their own representation and the role of images in reintegration. Led with curator Monica Santos and sound creator Brigitte Patient, this edition also marks one year of the non-profit association Des Images et Des Sons. The restitution will take place on January 15 at 2:30 pm, by invitation only. An external exhibition is planned for 2027.

Supported by Fondation Meyer, DRAC Île-de-France, SPIP Essonne, and Préfecture de l’Essonne
