Review of "Azov Horizons" in Polka magazine | Patrick Wack

The French photography magazine POLKA has published a glowing review of Patrick Wack's new monograph, "Azov Horizons."

Titled "Patrick Wack, front de mer contre front de guerre" (translated with "Patrick Wack, where the shoreline meets the frontline"), the review praises “Azov Horizons” for its subtle, poetic take on the war in Ukraine, highlighting Patrick Wack’s choice to focus on an informed and aesthetic storytelling, where war is not the sole focus. It further emphasizes his ability to capture the tension between beauty and destruction, commending the project’s quiet power and its refusal to rely on graphic imagery to convey the human impact of conflict.
