On field for De Trouw, new story on borders and animal movement | Alex Kemman

Work in progress for Alex Kemman's project on borders and animal movement at the Southeastern edge of Europe, particularly how bordersecurity measures from Frontex may affect animal mobility just as the iron curtain did back in the days.

This photo is from an artificial birdnest for the Lesser Kestrel, a species that was almost extinct, but is now brought back in the border area of Bulgaria/Greece/and Turkey.
