After a successful first edition in 2017, Inland is opening the ring again with The Battle, an ultimate image clash between six photography teams from photo agencies and collectives. Based on the strongest photographic repartee, each round will be submitted to the crowd’s reaction (applause meter) and a panel of judges

Lars Lindemann is a curator, editor, and photography consultant based in Hamburg. He was Director of Photography at GEO (2015–2023) and served on juries including the World Press Photo Contest and Prix Carmignac. He co-founded the Hamburg Portfolio Review and is International Projects Curator at Cortona On The Move. With Paolo Woods, he recently co-founded the creative studio Moving Stills.

Since 1990, Éric Sinatora has been director of Graph-Cmi in Carcassonne, which develops an annual program
, organizes one to three artist residencies a year, promotes image education in schools from kindergarten to university, runs a module of the “Photographe intervenant” training program and, true to his values of popular education, encourages projects to combat discrimination through images. A major player on the Occitan photography scene, he is a founding member of the Réseau Diagonal, which he has co-chaired with Fred Boucher since 2022, and runs the Fictions Documentaires festival, affirming his commitment to photography at the crossroads of documentary and artistic experimentation.
